ATMs

Withdraw cash or make a deposit at ATMs (WellsFargo or BB&T) located near the Emergency Department.

Cafeteria

Enjoy delicious meals prepared by our professional food and nutrition team. Visit the cafeteria on the ground floor for daily:

• Theme station
• Hot entrees
• Pizza

Full-Service Meals

Get a hot meal during these times:

Monday to Friday

Breakfast – 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Lunch – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dinner – 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Weekends

Breakfast – 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Lunch – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Between meals, enjoy beverages and prepackaged salads, sandwiches, and other items. Selections vary daily.

Send a cheer card to a patient at UNC Health Wayne.

Courtesy Phones

Use courtesy phones in the hospital’s:

• Cafeteria
• Emergency Department
• Main lobby
• Vending/snack area, ground floor
• Waiting rooms, all floors

Cell Phones

Don’t use cell phones within three feet of patient care equipment. They may interfere with heart monitors, IV pumps, ventilators, and other technology. Please cooperate if hospital staff directs you to another area to use your cell phone or asks you to turn it off.

Library

Use a computer or browse leisure-reading materials in the Health Science Library for patients and families. Located on the ground floor near the Southeast Rehabilitation entrance, the library is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. You may ask the librarians for help finding health information and resources, but you should talk to your doctor as well. Call the library at 919-731-6098. Reading glasses are also available.

Sunshine Corner Gift Shop

The Sunshine Corner Gift Shop is located inside UNC Health Wayne on the first floor of the main tower. You can also visit the online gift shop. Find a variety of baby items, stuffed animals, live plants and floral arrangements, Mylar balloons, and seasonal merchandise. The gift shop hours are:

• Monday through Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Saturday – Noon to 6 p.m.
• Sunday – 1 to 6 p.m.
