About Your Bill

Expect to receive a bill for the medical services performed at UNC Health Wayne. You’ll also get separate bills from each medical professional who cares for you, such as your primary physician, surgeon, and other hospital-based physicians. For example, you may receive separate bills from pathology or anesthesia, in addition to the bill from your surgeon. Pay each bill to the group or physician on your bill.

$101 to $500 – 3 Months

$501 to $1,000 – 6 Months

$1,001 to $5,000 – 12 Months

$5,001 to $10,000 – 24 Months

$10,001 or more – 36 Months
