Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Take advantage of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) at the Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center. During this simple treatment, you’ll breathe 100 percent pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber. Delivering oxygen to your body’s tissues helps heal wounds quickly and more completely.

Before therapy begins, you’ll lie down on a comfortable rollaway bed inside a clear, eight-foot-long chamber. While you’re inside the hyperbaric chamber, a specially trained technician will monitor you and you can talk to your technician anytime. You can also watch TV, a movie or take a nap during therapy.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is five days a week and typically take 90 minutes per treatment. Depending on your wound, you may attend therapy for four to six weeks.
