UNC Health Wayne is committed to the health and wellness of school children throughout our area, providing vital support to Wayne County Public Schools and local families through our School Nurse Program and Wayne Initiative for School Health (WISH).

School Nurse Program

Count on certified school health nurses employed by UNC Health Wayne to protect and care for your school-age children. UNC Health Wayne School Health Nurses provide care for over 18,000 students while they attend Wayne County Public Schools.

WISH

A partnership of UNC Health Wayne, Wayne County Public Schools, local city and county government and community organizations, Wayne Initiative for School Health (WISH) provides comprehensive health care services to middle and high school students in seven local schools.
