• Hemodialysis at your bedside by certified hemodialysis (HD) nurses to take the place your kidney functions
• Mechanical ventilation to supply oxygen to your lungs and help you breathe
• Thermagard^® therapeutic hypothermia after cardiac arrest to help your body reach and maintain a targeted temperature to give you a better outcome during recovery
• Glideslope laryngoscopy allows for awake intubations and faster more efficient intubations in difficult or restricted airways for emergency situations

When you or your family needs support from a chaplain, ask your ICU nurse or a volunteer to contact Pastoral Care at 919-731-6321. A chaplain is available 24 hours a day.
