Description

Breastfeeding Class

Mothers naturally produce breast milk in the days following childbirth, but the art of latching the baby onto the breast is learned. At UNC Health Wayne, our breastfeeding classes are taught by a Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and provide clear, accurate breastfeeding information for the “soon-to-be” new mother.

This class is typically taken prenatally. Also see our Childbirth Classes & Breastfeeding Support Group.
